Introduction
The PRINCE2® (PRojects IN Controlled Environments) project management methodology provides business with a flexible approach for the management of their projects and a cost-effective means to align the best practice project management.
The purpose of this training is to prepare candidates for PRINCE2 Practitioner qualification and confirm whether they have achieved sufficient understanding of how to apply and tailor PRINCE2 in a scenario situation. A successful Practitioner candidate should, with suitable direction, can start applying the method to a real project but may not be sufficiently skilled to do this appropriately for all situations.
Learning Objectives
Candidates should expect to gain competencies in the following areas after successful completion of the training course:
- Understand the relationships between the roles, management products, principles, themes, techniques and processes
- Be able to apply the principles, themes and processes to a project
- Be able to create and assess management products.
- Be prepared for the PRINCE2 Practitioner Certification

Prerequisites
PRINCE2 Foundation training, or very good concepts of PRINCE2 are required for this training.
Course Format
The course uses a stimulating mix of instructions, workshops, quizzes, discussions and a practice-exam.
Note: 2 to 3 hours of evening work would be required for examination preparation.

Practice Exam
A 2.5-hour practice exam is part of the course. The practice exam aims to help participants in passing the PRINCE2 Practitioner certification exam.
Certification Exam
A 2.5-hour certification exam is scheduled on the last day of the course, consisting of 68 objective questions carry 1 mark each. Candidates must achieve 55% marks (38 out of 68) to receive their examination certificate. This is an open book exam (official PRINCE2 guide only).
Eligibility for Examination
To sit in the PRINCE2 Practitioner examination, candidate must provide proof of having passed one of the following:
- PRINCE2 Foundation,
- Project Management Professional (PMP),
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM),
- IPMA Level A® (Certified Projects Director),
- IPMA Level B® (Certified Senior Project Manager),
- IPMA Level C® (Certified Project Manager),
- IPMA Level D® (Certified Project Management Associate).
